set gamma 0,9 or 1,0

lucy first try set gama as say pimp,if is not better for this step try down new driver for ati here:

http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Legacy/Pages/radeonaiw_xp.aspx?type=2.4.1&product=2.4.1.3.7&lang=English /Catalyst Software Suite/

2.control panel-add/remove programs-uninstal all ati software and restart
3.install this new drivers-restart
4.start game a test

um....sorry lucy...try remove config.cfg in your nexuiz foulder,run nexuiz and set your nexuiz settings again
