I've just found out that DTG is going on a civil war on 23th, at 18.
I hope we won't overlap (it's the same server I prsume?)

Naah, it's probably cool... I think we will use one of Fjants servers in Sweden for our practice and we'll throw up a temporary for you from Bart0s place in Germany :>

I do wanna spectate your war tough, so I might be a little late for the DTG practice ... But i'm sure I'll not be the only one ^^

Well, about the maps, would be nice to play at least on thanatos, but I need more suggestions from the other members, I´ll ask them.

I came here to say something intelligent and helpful to the organisation of the War, but I see PIR is in complete and fantastic control, so I will just say: "WHAAAAAAT'S UUUUUUP?!?!?" and leave

Yes, the organization looks good I hope that there will be many NK's and of course DBC's

We still have 2 maps to agree.

Currently we have thanatos, dance, lostspace, ?, ?. I am not sure about the sequence though...

Also could we talk a bit about the tactics in a private room?

Well tactic is simple - capture opponent flag, protect own at the cost of life and WIN

That's it on a nutshell. What meant who's gonna defend, who attack, the sequence of maps, such sort of things.

BTW, why don't u want to put yr life on that flag protection business on 23th?

I was kidding about tactic. DTG from what I noticed even arrange some training meetings.

In matter of fact I think we should have ctf private server for such things like tactic and training for funwar. If somebody would be able to gain config file for ctf server and list me all the names of maps needed I could setup such server every time it would be needed. But I need to have everything served on a plate coz I'm not ctf player and my knowledge and opinion about server settings differs much from what you get used to and know as good settings.

And about your question:
1. ctf phisics sucks - when I try to bring down guy flying with the flag and fire 10 times without any effect I wonder how many probability to bring him down is based on luck and subconscious processes which are significantly less trainable and how much is based on fully conscious aiming. For me on ctf is too much this first thing.
2. Anal suck as ctf player even as defender. They capture the flag without any foreplay When I shout "stop moving, Anal is trying to shoot away your ass" on DM or 1on1 they listen on ctf they don't (I think CTF players could be deaf )
3. I never know when I would be free. So I always can say only maybe.

So I say maybe. In matter of fact last funwar I played was ctf funwar

We are running out of players, especially the defense. If Mo or Anal don't come, we have a problem.

Anal, about an ctf training server - great idea! Perhaps we could try to obtain the settings from DTG or Choobs...

So it's going to be 16 for me, and 17 for most of you I believe. But Just keep an eye on this thread and a final announcement with the IP of the server will follow.

I propose the server to get a DNS naming to make things easier: nesquick.referee.nakedswede.com
