Well Lucy I think.... your man is a "scrooge" (unless it is laptop) My comuter is 2 years old and still it is faster...

But don't worry I think Pimp will give u his computer. One thing u have to do is to realiese him that somebody has faster machine and his PC is only a toy for polite children

As for the card, yr MB doesn't support PCIe 2.0, so buying some super modern ones ( like GTX285 or Radeon 4870) would be kinda wasting of money because yr MB PCIe slot with bottleneck them. But something from top middle range (like GTS250 ) would do I think
