I will try shortly to address the problems of text and color, thank you for your patience and your opinions, if you have any other ideas I am grateful to you all as well as assist in their implementation

Much better Lucy Now I don't know what to say to advice u how to improve it. But something is missing. From my experience any design I was making for a site I improved 5-6 times before it was good. But after every version I said to myself - "Yeah it is good" and next day I look at it and say - "there something missing" or even "damn, it is shit!". So don't misunderstand my words. I don't want to offend u. It is good! But can be better

Ok my turn. I told it will be week but I find some time. Not much so I don't know if it is good enough. It is simple - only Nex logo and text because I can't find suitable images I can put there

Now, second and the last version. I reach max of my skills - it can't be better with elements I included there. And besides it is probably pointless to create any next version because it is only I who vote againts logo which is already on the site... or I misunderstand something and I vote against my own project?

Rado, what means "maintain this logo" because I'm little lost. Is "this" means logo existing on the site already or we are voting my project?

Instead of duplicating text I duplicated Nex logo. Now it is more clear and less chaotic.

Martin,the latter version looks very good, it might be better if they stayed only one nexuiz logo in the middle of it and the inscription

Yes, u r absolutly right Rado. I'm a fan of hard, rich graphics but sometimes I ovedose trying to improve something which in fact is finished.

After your suggestions:

NK Header - version 2a
NK Header - version 2b

I think Lucy that is no place for NK tag - 2 lines of text seems to be enough. Yellow and red colors don't much exactly to this design but even I change them to more suitable it's still would be worse than without it.

But in my opinion absence of NK tag isn't really relevant. Probably above 90% of visitiors, visit our site on purpose, not accidentaly. So they know already well our clan and even not, most of them after after 15 sec will know that NK = Natural Killer.

I don't know if changing logo frequently is a good idea. If most of the ppl agree that something is good is should stay longer because next can be worse. Escepially there are little elements that can be used for logo. Nex symbol, maybe this dragon which is currently on the site. But I had to recreate it from begining to put there my own improvments. And it is really hard, to many irregular shapes. I'm not a designer too - first of all a programer. Just have some experience - was forced by a situation to learn how build graphics for the website. I have no suitable tools - I fluently use one program - Fireworks - perfect to webdesign but not good for example in creating a cartoon. Predefined shapes, no advanced control for curves.

Maybe in the more distant future I will share my own enterprice class cms system and we build NK site from beginning and then I can create new full design. But I have to finish it first. It's still on developing level.
