Tournament time!

We probably have a problem. McGyver not have time this week to play. I do not know how to solve.

hi M@RA, Paul is now looking for a new partner because Heddiz told him that we can't wait that long.

We have two candidates to replace McGyver.

Furthermore Paul aksed me to tell you, that he has time today and tomorrow to play the tournement match. But only in the evening. 7pm or later.

If you want to see Demos from the matches you can see them in THIS thread...

You download the demo file you want to watch then you go to your nexuiz folder and put them in "Nexuiz\data\demos"

If you havn't recorded any demos you might have to create the demos folder...

I strongly recommend watching Apophis & M@RA vs Paul & Fjant on Frozencolors... M@RAs 6 straight caps at the end was AWESOME!

nice screenshot indeed. Could be better with some higher graphic settings and the skybox turned on (or there`s no skybox on this map? it happens sometimes). But still it is really nice. And he caught both flag carriers

I agree with you PIR. I do not know what time the game is played today. When completed, this could be organized another tournament, but for every game could be points. Should play robin. Total points could decide the winner. Because the tournament is a bit boring now.Also could replace players in the teams.
But all this is just an idea. I know that is not easy to organize a tournament.

Actually I think NESQUICK is doing his best: it's hard to organize all of us together.
Perhaps the information update might be a bit faster. But it mostly depends on the participants, I presume.

As far as future tournaments, robbin would be perfect but I think it'll last forever (120 matches!).
Maybe a true ladder? I mean when the current one hopefully is finished, we'll all be ranked: the losers of 1/8 (that would be us ) would may challenge the losers of 1/4 and so forth. It they win (or the challenge is rejected) they switch places.

The match today is 22:00 ... (Didn't know myself untuill about a minute ago) xD

Yeah, the tournament could really have been organized better... But this is the first tournament i'm organizing. We had some problems with the time so we tried to rush it all)...

Next tournament will be The Badass Choobs 3on3 tournament... I don't know the rules yet etc etc... But i think that the official start will be in 2-3 weeks.

I'll probably try to organize a 1on1 DM tournament soon to =D
I'll keep you up to date.

Apophis and M@RA... We haven't heard from Paul since he and Fjant played the match against you guys... And the time is ticking...

I've talked to Fjant and if Paul doesn't show up at 20:00 tomorrow (Monday) he want you to take their place against Mattias and Pimpampum.

Are you ok with that?

Hm if it properly understood, Fjant needs to teammate today, right? Me or Apophis? Whom will he choose to?
