Looks like some releases have problems on some rigs...seems to be an individual problem

version 2.5.3 which includes the repair there is no significant change from the version 2.5.2 .... major adjustments should wait for version 2.6 and even after the page graphics and performance throughout the game

I really hope that optimization of performance graphic engine which is already underway will be effective,I present benchmark examples version 2.5 and 2.5.2

my test show that new (2.5.2) is slower about 5-7 fps. Nothing much, but I hope that new version will perform better.

2.3 was the best for me, it worked great and I always had ping 31 ^^]

i'm using 2.5.2
it was released about a week after i've started playing nexuiz so i'm using it from that moment. What can I say, I have big problems in aiming while playing on [PK]2.5.1 server so you can't meet me there very often:D

i use 2.5.2 too ...I have the problem in version 2.5.1, when shooting the gun tilted and thus abolished the concentration in play, in version 2.4.2 with a combination of walking and jumping forward movement begins very chop

2.5.2 for me. I was playing on 2.5.1 for 3 months or more and when 2.5.2 was released it was horror for me. I even complain to tZork (member of Nexuiz developers team) that they nearly kill this game . In the past I was chaotic, my aim wasn't really good and my main weapon was this that I'm everywere, always on move jumping and strafing as hell, so I was really hard to frag on 2.5.1. But on 2.5.2 I was much easier target - in this version it is much simplier to frag anybody. Now aim is much more important skill than dodging.

But after I get used to 2.5.2, now 2.5.1 is a horror for me

for me is 2.5.2 ok but for better fire-shoot respond is better 2.5 or 2.5.1,btw,i wait 2.5.3,looks good

Inside .tar.bz2 you have /usr and /opt
So place binaries inside in matching directory in file system. Check for exe flag, do "sudo chmod +x" on binary.

One more thing... Package is compiled for Intel C2D. If any of you need something else, ask me. Rado, maybe you can make .deb package of this?

Do anybody know direct source of Nex 2.5.2 or 2.5.3 full release? (without any javascript, redirections like the is on sourceforge.net). I want to upload it directly to my server by console command:

wget nex_source_file_address

By ftp from my local PC to server I doubt it will be possible - I have 2Mb/256kb ADSL connection so uploading above 800MB with max 32kB/s will take long time. First thing - I dunno when I will be able to block by internet connection for so long, and second - chances to successfully finish upload are very little coz my connection is very unstable.
