so here is a video of my whole problem. The PC is a GeForce 6600GT.
Changed anything or when you fill login and password. It remains only a
black screen and have to restart the PC .. and the whole is repeated
When you put ATI HD 3650 so I do run. But it is still damaged and I stiffen.

try to switch to console 7 (there is usually xwindows started)
or try to start xwindows manually

yes martin,true or marek,try login as root type in console: sudo su and write your password and then try startx

Thank you guys for help .. My final solution was to reinstall Ubuntu,
and graphics card is no problem .. and again good old GeForce 6600GT

this why , i use only windows .. , no problem and lot off driver solution ..

eh,i use many years linux and no problem too .... but,i believe if 9.10 version comming all problems /minimal / are history

oki,try this:

-0.uninstall gpu drivers and start you pc with default linux drivers
-1.install envy program

-2.restart pc
-3.search and run envy
-4.install drivers for your gpu
-5.restart pc
