This is my attempt at the logo but it's only because I text a beginner in this

the neon one is not a bad idea mara - but it looks a bit blurry and cut off at moment
And i think it may be better for the assemblage if you have the background color #222222(forum)in the upper and lower beam.
Just some suggestions
why not change the logo from time to time?

After above 2 years of regular job as a webdeveloper and nearly 3 as a freelancer I think I can call myself a profesionalist so I hope u forgive me that I will try to make "soulless" profesional audit of this design:

First of all this is not design for dynamic content site. It is really hard to create good design when users can add nearly everything: text, emoticons, avatars, even banners and movies. But best practise is to create solid one color background for this content or delicate gradient. Graphical background of this design is a main problem which makes site messy and little unreadable. Every banner, picture and avatar aren't look good. And there are some fortunatelly tiny mistakes. Skin don't define everything so some elements not match design like multiquote button or this stars representing user status. Banner added by google ads hide impportant elements of site - I would change it css style from:

Quote :

height:90px !important;
min-height:90px !important;
width:728px !important;

to

Quote :

margin: 20px 0; !important;

And there is white text on nearly white post reply input box...

But besides all my critical words it is great progress. I didn't like old skin but I didn't say anything because it is hard to only criticise something if u know u wouldn't have time to make it better by yourself. As a standard, free php-bb skin it is one of the best skin I've ever seen especially if u could control what users are publicating.

My rate for old skin was 3.5/10, new one 6.5/10 and if there were only user avatars specially created for this site, and no banners and pictures inside users post it would be 7.5/10.

Besides of my rate for the new skin I want to admit one thing - your dedication for the NK family to makes things better I can rate only one way 10/10. Great job Rado.

Wow, u r not a designer Lucy so I can say that your work is impressive

But i think it's not suit this site, u have to use background which is there already. Diffrent header background and rest of the site background won't look good. Natural Killer and NK texts need to have more matched, extremally bold font (to suit Nex logo). And this circle beneath Nex logo has too rich graphics and makes all header little chaotic.

I try to create something by myself but it takes minimum a week unfortunately.
