Version 2.5 and 2.5.1 was the emphasis on the lag games, play games for
a long time and at multiple servers from one, two or more human beings
and any ping jump very high, I even saw a lot of times the ping
9899-9999 PL-100 ... the summary of all tests on the servers I found
the fact that older Nexuiz 2.4.2 has a better ping difference of 25% /
Minsta mod 35-40% ping lag...all comparisons were made on the Linux
platform and others platforms:
Hw config:
AMD X2 6400, 4GB RAM, 9800GT PCIE, Audigy x-fi, 750GB SATA2
connection:
DSL lan
distro:
debian 5+upd * ubuntu 9.04+upd * fedora 11+upd * mandriva
2009.1+upd * opensuse 11.1+upd * Slackware 12.2+upd * opensolaris
2009.06+upd * openbsd 4.5+upd
